L2J H5 npcgrp.dat

[masterrs]

I can not open with new file edit for H5 file named npcgrp.dat
I have this error: Could not create file: npcgrp.txt
All system is pathed and I used many systems from other sources.
Any idea how to open and edit it?

are you sure that you have hi5 fileedit?

I have the same problem and i have used about 5 file editors and two or three of them was saying H5, anything on your mind?

Yes I am sure, because I can open all files from H5 system except npcgrp.dat.

Ofcourse I can enter to game H5 and everything is ok. I use L2J server.

I edited some files and it works.

in your npcgrp ddf at end at unknown int to it . It changed in hi5. Therfore it doesn't work and you have outdated edit

What I need to do? Add UNK at end of file npcgrp.ddf?
Somebody have not outdated l2fileedit?


OK I did it.
I add after

ASCF npcend[npcend_cnt];

this

UINT UNK_2;

in npcgrp.ddf
and it works. Great!!! Thank you very much.

missing a column in the file default npcgrp.dds (UINT UNK_2

Now all *.dat are decrypt with L2File Edit:
