I did not want to clutter the release thread so I am posting here instead. I encountered this issue when trying to connect to my hotel. It loads Shockwave perfectly and shows the Sulake logo, and then it just goes black and nothing happens. No connection is shown in the emulator. I know that it is a DCR issue, but I have tried many different ones and I still have the same issue. Maybe it is due to my website using https instead of http or something with sso?

I am already using that pack. I can not test on localhost however, as I am hosting it on a Linux with only CLI. The ports are open though and my files should be configured correctly. This is what they look like (where ip and domain.com is switched out for my real ip and domain):

Yes. And as you saw in the gif, Shockwave loaded properly.

I'd check to make sure you only have one version installed and also try clearing the cache.
run ----> rundll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ClearMyTracksByProcess 8
to clear the cache.

If that fails, try uninstalling and reinstalling. Be sure to restart your PC before you go to use the client the first time and it gives you the pop up asking if you are sure you want to play a movie for the first time.
There are also known issues with various versions so checking your version against Google can help, may need to upgrade or downgrade.
I'll give a link to some more info, just need to find it first.
