I would use Cloudflare, but I would also use Kiwiguard.

The "pro" Cloudflare plan doesn't offer any DDoS protection. Perhaps it might stop the smallest botnets, but that is only because of the WAF most likely. I would go with the Business option if you want any protection against most botnets. However, I'm fairly certain that Cloudflare won't protect against over 10GBPS/1m PPS without the Enterprise plan.
The kiwi guard won't do anything against large attacks, especially not if they target your actual gameserver application.
