Hello,

I'm trying to protect my site from outside sources viewing my content... I'm using cPanel to host my content but apart from each other.

So here is my goal.

I have subdomain hosting my SWF. but I want to prevent outside sources using my SWF (URLs) so when people go to swf.mydomain.com it will reflect 403 error to them.

You should look into access tokens.

What you need is hotlinking protection. You can do this with htaccess.

RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http(s)?://(swf\.)?domain.com [NC]
RewriteRule \.(swf|png|gif)$ http://domain.com/hotlink-placeholder.jpg [NC,R,L]
