Just download it, set it up, then test it! You could figure out how to simulate online users in a VM or something to see how it fares with a few hundred users online. Are you going to try and use this for a hotel or as a base for a project?

If you want a stable emulator then use Comet released in 2016, not the new one released in 2017

If I recall correctly Mango had a lot of deadlocks.

Pretty sure with the development of the C# language you are better of writing stuff from scratch. Maybe you can use it as a guidance for the protocol and session handling. Good luck with your development
