[Guide] *FULL* PHPretro with r35 HoloEmu Guide (w/Pics)

Welcome to my tutorial on how to make a PHPretro with Yifan_lu's PHPRetro 4.0.10 Stable and iBobbaX R35 Holograph Emulator. I know it's kind of late, but I have seen tutorials only giving bits and bits. This is an all in 1 tutorial for noobs. This is going by if you know how to portforward. If you are going by Hamachi, wherever i put the IP from whatismyip.com, just put you Hamachi IP. Now let's get started!

1a. Downloads

Xxamp 1.7.1 (If you have 1.7.4, unistall it and use this one)
Download XAMPP from SourceForge.net

WinRAR
Download RAR Software Free

MySQL Connector 5.2.7 ***Just click no thanks and select the mirror closest to you.(If you have any other version, remove it by going to start>control panel> add/remove programs.)

1b. Setting up Xampp

1b.1 Once you have downloaded Xampp, Click run when the Box comes up.
1b.2 After that, keep the same directory: c:\xampp\

1b.3 Then keep the first two boxes check and then click install.
1b.4 Once done, run your control panel and start Apache and MySQL. Two green boxes that say running should appear.

1b.5 Then go to your browser and type in: http://localhost/security/index.php. If it comes in a different language, look on the left and select the language you understand.

1b.6 Then go to http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php
1b.7 Put in your password, select cookie, then click password changing. *****Right your username (always root) and password on a notepad and save it to your desktop!

1b.8 Then click restart your xampp control panel.


2. Setting up the actual PHPretro

2.1 Go into start>all programs>apache friends>xxamp>htdocs or C:/xampp/htdocs and delete everything in there.
2.2 Then open up your PHPretro 4.0.10 in WinRAR. Double click upload then you will have a bunch of files. Highlight all of them, then extract it to C:\xampp\htdocs. (Yours should not have a plus sign next to it.)

3. Setting up your Database.

3.1 Go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ and sign in. Keep the username, but use the password you used earlier on xampp security. You should've saved this on a notepad.
3.2 Once you have logged in, create a new database called "holodb" as shown in the picture. Leave everything else the same.

3.3 Then on the top, there should be a bunch of tabs. Click on Import. If you haven't extract your Rev 2.0(Holograph Emulator) to your desktop. Then click the Choose File button. Locate into Rev 2.0> DB_SQL. Then click the GO button at the bottom right.

4. Installing PHPretro.

4.1 In your browser type http://127.0.0.1 or, in your control panel, click "Admin" next to "Apache".
4.2 Select the language you want your hotel to be in. Then click continue.
4.3 Everything should pass if you have followed the tutorial, then click continue.
4.4 Once the next page comes up, the first line should say Table Prefix, and then cms_. You don't to touch any of the lines until you see "Database Password". It should be the 6th line. This is where that Xampp security password comes in handy again. Add in your password. Then the next line should be Database Name. Since on phpMyAdmin we named it "holodb", that is what we are going to put. If you named it something else, just put that.

4.5 Once you have hit continue, the next page on the first line should say "Site Name". Mine is HotelX, but you can put your hotel name. Then put your hotel's short name, mine is eX.
4.6 Then keep "Site Path" the same.
4.7 Keep "Hotel Server" as Holograph.
4.8 Click continue. Now create your admin account for your hotel, then click continue. The next page should come up, give it about a 5 count or until everything installs, then click next.
4.9 Then, a green box should come up telling you to move some files. Go to your htdocs>install then copy the config file in there and paste it into htdocs>includes. (as seen in the picture.)

4.10 Then, while still in your htdocs folder, delete the install folder.

4.11 Then in the green box, click housekeeping, or go to http://localhost/housekeeping/. Then sign in to housekeeping using your admin profile.
4.12 Once you have signed in go to the top tabs. Look for settings, and then it should scroll down: pick site.
4.13 Once your on that page, look at the bottom where it says "Status Image" and change to disabled.

5a. Setting up your Holograph Emulator
5a.1 Go to Rev 2.0>Config (folder)>config.ini. Add in your information. (See the picture if your unsure.)

5a.2 Then go back to the main page of your Rev. 2.0 folder. Click the one that is an application: It looks like a hand holding squares.
5a.3 Look at picture of how your Emulator should look.

5b. Setting up your Catalog Fix
5b.1 Extract your files from the catalog fix file into a folder on your desktop.
5b.2 Copy and Paste everything EXCEPT "cms_homes_catalog" into c:\xampp\htdocs\web-gallery/styles/myhabbo and paste it. YES, you want to replace it.
5b.3 Then, go into phpMyAdmin, into your database (should be named holodb) and click on the import tab. Click the Choose File button, and go to your folder where you put your catalog fix. Now you want to import your cms_homes_catalog file. (Look at picture if you are unsure.)

6. Setting up your DCR's (Prehosted at the end)

6.1 Open up your DCR file in WinRAR. Extract the R35 FOLDER to htdocs: c:\xampp\htdocs. ***THE WHOLE FOLDER. When you go into htdocs it should be called R35 in there!!!
6.2 Then, while in your htdocs folder, go to R35>Gamedata and open up vars.txt
6.3 Now hit CTRL+H and find http://habazhotel.servegame.com/habsz and replace it with http://127.0.0.1 or your IP from What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address. (I prefer the IP from whatismyip. You will see why later.)(Replace All)

6.4 Then Look for http://%predefined%/habsz and replace it with http://%predefined% (Replace All)

6.5 Then go to housekeeping>settings>hotel.
6.6 Under IP, put your IP from whatismyip.com.
6.7 Change your port to 37529 and MUS port to 36264
6.8 Change your variables to http://(yourip)/r35/gamedata/vars.txt?, texts to http://(yourip)/r35/gamedata/texts.txt? and DCR to http://(yourip)/r35/gamedata/habbo.dcr? Use the IP from the one you used in step 6.3

How to Fix Shockwave Problem
1. Uninstall shockwave, restart your computer, and then reinstall shockwave 11.5. (Just google it, it should be easy to find.)
2. Still not working? This means your DCR's are bad. Check and make sure they are correct BEFORE before going to the next step.
3. So it's still not working, eh? Download my client.php and replace it with yours. client.php

Could you post a picture if possible?
In instruction number 6.3 when you replace it with either 127.0.0.1 or your IP from what is my IP, that is the same adress you use for step 6.8

EX: you replace http://habazhotel.servegame.com/habsz with 127.0.0.1 That is the same IP you use in housekeeping>settings>hotel in step 6.8 so http://127.0.0.1/r35/gamedata/habbo.dcr? for all 3. Or, if you want use these DCR's. Just click them copy the link from the address bar then use them in housekeeping>settings>hotel.

If that doesn't work, then you need a client fix, the newest adobe shockwave, and make sure your emulator is on.

Yes replace for all.

As for your second question, you get these error lines because of the Xampp you are using, get 1.7.1 if you have that version of Xampp try deleting the contents out of your htdocs and do that part over again.

nahh i fixed it by myself only problem is the buttons when im playing its like nav_categories etc..

You have to download MySQL Connector 5.2.7 and also Microsoft Visual Editor which I just added after part 5a. The reason your bar is not loading is a.make sure your dcr's are setup correctly b. you do not have the latest version of adobe shockwave. If you need help on these, I will be happy to help through teamviewer.

I got problem, if i am trying to log in its saying all the time "Invalid captcha code." i assure that i type it correctly for many times...

I have this error when im logging in my admin account and i put the correct password it say's "wrong password" but it's correct!!
