[Guide] How to make a Phpretro 2011

Hello and welcome to my first tutorial. In this tutorial i will be showing you how to make a Phpretro.

Step 1.
Download
Hamachi-https://secure.logmein.com/products/.../download.aspx
Xampp 1.7.3-apache friends - xampp
Winrar-http://www.rarlab.com/rar/wrar371.exe
Holograph Emulator-MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Phpreto I 5.0.0 R1-MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
MYSQL ODBC driver 5.1.8-MySQL :: Download Connector/ODBC

Step 2.
Install Xampp and MYSQL.
Start Apache and MYSQL.

Now open your browser and go to http://localhost
Select you language (you must have xampp control pannel running at all times)
Now go to http://localhost/security/xamppsecurity.php
If it doesn't work go to http://127.0.0.1/security/xamppsecurity.php
Set a password here, this is a important place so keep your password secure and safe!
WOW you have just installed xampp and set up xampp control pannel!

Step 3.
Go to C:\xampp\htdocs Delete everything from there
Open Phpretro in winrar (the one given above) and extract that to htdocs

Well done you have set up Phpretro ready to be installed

Step 4.
Go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin
Create a database called holodb and click crate next to it

Then you have to put in database
Click import and then you will see ahttp://forum.ragezone.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=335 choose file button click that then try and find the database which is in Holograph Emulator



Step 5.
Open your emulator go to Bin>Debug>Bin open MYSQL and change the settings

Save that
Then go back to Debug folder and open holograph emulator it should work.
Now go to http://Localhost and now an installer should appear

Click continue twice and something like this will appear:

Then enter your details and password is your xampp password and Dtabase is holodb
Click continue again
And an Administrator account will come up make one and click continue twice and then something will come up in a green box saying:
To finish the installation, please move ./install/config.php to ./includes/config.php and DELETE the ./install folder for security reasons, and then you may proceed to the Front Page or Housekeeping to configure the hotel and change additional settings.
So go to Install folder in htdocs and copy the config.php to includes.php and then go to housekeeping and sign in.
Then go to Setting>site and you will see a bar saying check every 10 mins cahnge it to disabled.
Then go to your page and enter client it should work!
There you have it your own retro!

Step 6.
Download hamachi.
Then Open it and click netwrok create a new network and them put a password an there you have it invite people to your network and let them play!

Step 7.
Looking for pre-hosted DCRs?
Why? It's so easy to host your own!

1.-Download Xampp or Wamp or Mamp(for Macs)

2.- Download the DCR you're looking for here: http://devbest.com/showthread.php?337-REL-Habbo-DCR-s

3.- Save the DCRs on your Htdocs

4.- Done! Your DCRs link is YourIP/DCRFILENAMEHERE

5.- Now you should extract the vars and texts from the DCR file, it should be called vars, anyways, extract them to a txt file and save it on your htdocs with the name vars.txt, so now your vars URL is YourIP/vars.txt !

6.- Do the same thing you did with the vars but with the texts in the DCR File.

I tried to make this the simplest as possible, please tell me if I'm missing something or if it's too confusing.

Note: Force dcrs dont work. They have now protected them so anytime you go into the hotel at the login screen it comes up with a security thing you say its fine then... D/C Bitch.

Im having some issues with the emulator. It loads fine, but then says no sql.ini found or whatever, when it actually is there. Heres a screenie.

Hello my friend. I have my hotell, but it's come this over the hotell in the site...
Notice: Undefined variable: page in C:\xampp\htdocs\includes\core.php on line 21

It's coming so much of these, and i can't go in my hotell, i don't know why. Can u make a hotell for me and give the user and password for the administrator user? Plz m8te;)

As you can see from my attached files, there are errors everywhere. In the messages tab, all over house keeping, the client, the 'me' page, and the main shitter is the Loader not working.. gets to the Sulake load-bar and d/c's.

Overall, nice looking Retro mate, good release apart from the errors and loader.
