    Making custom badges

    Tabo Hotel
Hey Ragezoners, Today I will show you how to make custom badges using a simple program named Paint. You must all have that program if not get it.

    Why am I doing this?
Because im tired of seeing people making badges for others which makes a huge spam.

Lets start get your badge picture.

You can use any badge but for this tutorial ill be using that one.

Once you have your badge open Paint

Then click Edit and choose paste from

Then the screen will popup saying choose your image.Once that happens go find your badge

Then it will show on your paint screen. Now zoom on to your badge by clicking the zoom button

Ok now click on the little icon shown in the next picture and click on the brown colour on habbo badge :

    Then follow the few steps:

And now use the color to erase Habbo :

Now do the same thing with the color stealer on the lighter brown above :

Then erase the rest of the writings with its own color :

Then use the colour stealer to take the writings color:

And then write your hotel name ill use Tutor as a Example :

And if you see the writing has a few different colors. Then use the color stealer on the different colours and add them :

Ok now just do that for all the colors like this :

Then zoom out and save it as a GIF

    Now your done !!!!

If you got any questions if it wasn't clear ask me questions.

    Re: Making custom badges

To add pages for a retro you will have to put the badge you have saved into your c_images and once there you will have to name it a 3 Letter name for example ADM.Once that you go and give the user the badge(if you used ADM) ADM.

    Re: Making custom badges

I wouldn't do it in Paint, you can't make them transparent..

    Re: Making custom badges

This is a nice tutorial, but you should do it in Photoshop/Paint.NET so you can keep the transparent background..

That is because the badgerack on uberCMS links to Habbo's c_images folder and not yours, to sort that out, just change the url for the badges in comp-me.tpl to your own hotel's

    Re: Making custom badges

    Just use paint.NET
    http://www.dotpdn.com/files/Paint.NET.3.5.6.Install.zip
    for the install.

Paint.NET is free image and photo editing software for computers that run Windows. It features an intuitive and innovative user interface with support for layers, unlimited undo, special effects, and a wide variety of useful and powerful tools. An active and growing online community provides friendly help, tutorials, and plugins.
It started development as an undergraduate college senior design project mentored by Microsoft, and is currently being maintained by some of the alumni that originally worked on it. Originally intended as a free replacement for the Microsoft Paint software that comes with Windows, it has grown into a powerful yet simple image and photo editor tool. It has been compared to other digital photo editing software packages such as Adobe® Photoshop®, Corel® Paint Shop Pro®, Microsoft Photo Editor, and The GIMP.
