Hello!
And welcome to my second tut, of Hosting your very own dcrs!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Some Questions asked alot, can be to do with hosting dcrs. Like these questions for example..

- How do i use custom badges?
- I wanna use custom furni & Premade furni on my CMS Server!
- Why does it say "Join habbzo Club, or Hebzo Club" (Because your using there Texts..)
- Why is half of my furniture in the catelogue invalid, or not working?

Well, ive an answer for all of them!
Ok lets get started!

HOSTING YOUR VERY OWN DCRS
Hosting your DCR's is probly one of the simplest things to do with holocms (Or any retro really!)
And ive only just recently discovered the fact on hosting your dcrs, Because like most of the new people to the retro community, you have NO IDEA What CCT's Are do you?!
So, CCT's are something that makes your furniture, Valid! its like magic, a little file can make it all work!
CCT's can help run the hotel view, Pictures, Furnitures, Animated furnitures!
But to do them sort of things (E.G Adding your own furni) You need to host dcrs
To put the custom furni CCT's into the DCR "HOF_FURNI" Folder! (So it works ofcourse..)

MUST READ: DCR Files come with "Hof_Furni" "Sounds" And ussually texts & Variables. Wich ive to explain later on in the tutorial.. HOF_FURNI meens the furniture that your hotel needs (You know..)
So its not a little see through Box sitting there loading for 24 Hours! :P
& Sounds are for the furnitures, that ofcourse HAVE SOUNDS!, Like traxx, and music machines!

Anyway, lets get to the point of hosting your very own dcrs... :)
You can download DCR's, Just look around Some forums (otaku, Ragezone, gamerzplanet, Zer0)
And im more the sure your bound to find the verion os the dcrs you want!
Versions of dcrs (E.G v11 v12 v13 v14 v15 v16 v17 v18 v19 v20 v21 v22 v23 v24 v25 v26 v28 v29)
Are the version of your hotel, you could say the higher the version, the more advanced & Up to date with original habbo you are.. But some releases (MOST) Above V25 Dcrs have bugs, So i Disreccomend this for those who are very new.

NOW TO HOSTING YOUR DCRS (SORRY FOR THE LONG TALK :P)
1# To host your dcrs, you download them (Ussually Over 30MB, I Reccomend sPLAZE's Dcr's..)
2# Extract By Download WINRAR - Download Here
3# Now, put these files in your HTTDOCS Folder (Or upload to a webhost, for a faster load of client)
4# Go to the link, of where you uploaded them (E.G myaccount.110mb.com/dcrs or localhost/dcrs)
Please note, when i put DCR's you put whatever the folder name was there k?
5# Now, your almost done!, keep going through folders, untill u find "habbo.dcr" & Click it, this will take you to your laoder
6# After youve done this, you wanna' Copy & Paste the link, it was found int (In your search bar)
And goto House Keeping, Loader Config, And paste it into HABBO DCR (For retros that arent cms, just put it where it ses #dcr: LINK HERE In your Loader.html Folder (Open it in notepad i reccomend)
7# Now youve complete the dcr proccess, its time to learn VARS!

HOSTING YOUR OWN VARS & TEXTS
Now we've explained above how it all works, theres not as much to explain here..
Vars are something, that runs your loader, keeps the furni sorted (in the catelogue)
& Texts are something, in the loader where it says e.g HABBO PURSE or HABBO CLUB
FURNI E.G: Important Habbos only! [throne]
So, you can change HABBO CLUB JOIN! To say, $HOTEL_NAME CLUB JOIN!

HOSTING VARS & TEXTS
This is easy as!
Just follow the dcr Instructions, and get the link same over & over!
Paste in the v1-16 Loader #texts:
#vars:
With holocms, go to house keeping > Loader config > Paste in each spot!

And your done!!

Another tutorial said to use runhosting, which I did, but when I uploaded my DCRs, everything worked fine except for the catalouge. I had my directories uploaded as furni, sounds and c_images. Do you know what the problem must have been?

I did that as well. I understand the concept of hosting DCRs and how to do it, it just didn't work. And wouldn't the whole thing collapse if I didn't use variables?

lots of BRANDWITH + GUD WEBSPACE :D
or better yet use some CHEAP ASS WEBHOSTING ITS BEST TO USE ONLY IF U CAN AFFORD :P

I have a problem too. When I host my dcrs on the web, the cata is slow but in xampp (localhost) it is normal. Why'z tht?
