Anyone know what my bottleneck is? What's worth upgrading immediately?

I can't upgrade everything right now, but does anyone know which component would be worth upgrading to improve FPS in games? I'm thinking the CPU may be holding me back, and getting another 8 GB of RAM at least.

Gigabyte Micro ATX MOBO
EVGA 500W Power Supply
GeForce GTX 960
AMD FX-6300
8GB RAM
1TB HHD
120GB SSD

Swap out that FX-6300 for an i5-4440 or better, you'll also need a new motherboard for that new CPU. Get a new cooler, Hyper 212 EVO is great if your case can fit it. Slap in another 8GB RAM so you have 16GB in total. Put your OS on your SSD.

You've got a decent build if you do those. As it currently stands your CPU is fairly poop for today's standards, but you have no bottlenecks.

Definitely the AMD CPU. AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU just doesn't work out well. I'd go either full intel-Nvidia combo or stay full AMD. Friend of mine got bottlenecked by an AMD Quad core CPU that hardly used his GTX 770...
Can't give any first hand experiences though.

I'm debating upgrading this vs. just selling it outright and buying something different. If I were to sell this on Kijiji, what do you guys reckon would be a good asking price? Any ideas Future and NoBrain?

This is the case, if it matters:

I'd hold off for a while since Zen is supposed to release Q1 2017 and I am 90% sure Intel will drop their prices massively if AMD do their usual pricing. I'd recommend doing a completely fresh build in a full size case (if possible).

First hand experience, it's Ducking cancerous. AMD does not go well with anything, pure poop. Rather stick to an i7 to be quite honest.

I get the feeling that AMD is primarily covering Linux's back. On Windows, an intel-Nvidia combination seems to be unbeatable at this time.
