Hi,
Can anyone please tell me if a PCI Express 2.0 motherboard (which supports DDR3 memory) is compatible with a GFX card which is PCI-E 3.0 and has GDDR5 memory?
Here's an image of a program I used to identify that my PC supports PCI-E 2.0
I'd just like to know if my motherboard will be able to handle a card such as the Radeon HD 7750 (which is what I'm planning to upgrade to in the near future) - I don't want something too expensive as I'm not a serious gamer or anything, I just need to know if the card will work with my PC? Or if not, are there any similar cards for under £100 that my PC is able to run?
Thanks.
