When I turn on my PC and see the startup BIOS screen, It goes to the how you want to start windows screen, because it shut down wrong... As soon as I try to start windows normally, safe mode, etc., it restarts. Does anyone have a suggestion of what the problem might be?

It is NOT a virus, a virus will trigger while the OS has already been loaded, not while it is loading.

Either your hard drive or your OS is corrupt. Try running checkdisk form the OS install disk.

Could also be overheating but that would only happen if you have overclocked extremely high.

I have seen alot of these facts recently. You can't justify the means if something doesn't work then automaticly it becomes known as a virus. Besides the point =]

Simply you just have to re-install the OS.
Once you've corrupted the computer by shutting down, you can get away with it for so much, I had that to happen to me before when I was using Windows XP.

But, at the time I wasn't able to re-configure it at ALL.

So, your best bet is to just reinstall the OS and learn to go to:

Start > Shut Down

Simple :)

It doesn't even load the OS, Don't post if you don't know the answer.

When you have corrupted files of your OS

Your last resort is to format it.

Or if the heatsink is loose :) Could have had a nock on the side and only have push pins in ?
