Ladies and Gents.

I would like to announce that I have sucessfully patched the CN version to EN.

All NPC's are now reflecting there original names.

Also, please refer to the thread below as this one outlines all that I have done as well.


This patch is now in its Alpha phase where it will remain for the next 48 hours to test ALL skills to make sure they are working 100%. Then it will enter its beta phase. Then it will be official released.


Users who would like to test it please let me know.

If it's the rubbish files that everyone else uses, I'll pass.

I found some files that reflect exactly what the V2 Pservers are like, but I can't seem to use them.

The files im using come from the updated English version from MGameUSA/MGame - Netgame

The reason no one has been able to use the "English" files is because if you remember correctly, the english version uses XTrap which is coded in that was the reason for the "Global Configure Failure"

I have removed that code and sucessfully translated the ENTIRE database into english.

Right now im finishing the coding for the "quest" so they will work properly.

The server is still in chinese, but this doesn't seem to affect much right now as everything else is working fine. Since everything seemed to be client sided. I have a friend who is making an english server. He is also working on adding/modifying GM commands.

Actually Netgame has no jurisdiction if its hosted outside the US^^

They can threaten to sue, but once i make it official there isn't much they can do. That means they would have to go after each and every users who uses it, well GOOD LUCK... i mean look at WoW... LOTS of private servers

It's copyright infringement. And take it from me, Netgame WILL shut you down.

Who said i was going to actually "host" it? I am just doing this for the people. I dont want to host my own PS. I am just giving users the files so they can start there own and host it at there own risk.

You'd have to make the rates pretty high so people can test everything (5th Promo IP Quest Mostly)

I guess for testing purposed that would be reasonable^^

Or you could do instant level 100.
I've seen it done on some chinese servers where all characters get instant level 10 (lame I know XD)

That might be extremely hard.

Speaking on how no quests work on the chinese private servers (not even the IP Quest), it might be a tad bit difficult to get the IP Quest to work.
