For us new users everything feel and plays well, i am getting used to where to go, what early weapons to get and armour and stuff like that. But as a new player to this game and many updates later there is alot of info i am still lacking, so maybe you can all help abit and answer a few questions that might help new players in the future.

1. How do we upgrade our armour from C grade. Is it just a grind to make money and try to buy one from an artisan that got the recipe to make better armour, does something have to do with this mammon guys?!?!

2. Everyone is buying Boxes in chat....what are boxes??

3. How do the TvT events work, can anyone join, i assume lvl 60 and above, but what is we have gimp armour since some people really look like they have awesome stuff and i would get slaughtered.

4. Any Dungeons in game worth doing to get to end bosses or bosses with good drops?

5. Buffers...i asume people 2 box in order to raise a healer class up to just get heals and buffs so they can solo?

Any other little tips for a character getting from 40-60 and where to go what to do type of advice whould be cool.

Thx!

On our server B grade is hard to get. There are a few ways:
Craft (probably the easiest, but you need a spoiler and a crafter)
Drop
Buy from other players if you are super lucky
Buy with boxes at caska, its expensive, and I wouldn't recommend buying a whole set this way
Buy with life crystals (which drop from RB's, also hard to do)

Most wait for A grade which they craft/get drops/buy from players/get given to them.

It really does help to have a clan or a group of friends so you dont have to work alone to get things.

event gift boxes. They are tradable for all kinds of useful items at the NPC named Caska in Giran. She's under a tree at the bottom of the stairs near the priest of dawn.

Yep anyone, any class level 60 and above, unfortunately due to some people exploiting, we made it so you have to get at least one kill to get the prize.

ALL the end bosses are worth doing, but not all are super high level.
Queen Ant, Zaken, Antharas, Valakas, Baium are most popular for their jewelry they drop.

Not sure what you mean by "dungeons worth doing".. the big guys, Baium, Valakas, Antharas are achievable through quest or buying the item with boxes.

Yea most have an AIO (all in one) buffer.
Popular classes for this are:
Prophet, Warcryer, Bladedancer, Swordsinger, Elven elder, Shilean elder, Dominator (does nice clan buffs)

You can have one main class and 3 subs, so 4 classes on one character.
So pick carefully, I think it depends on what class you like to play most and what buff befits you want as to how you'd want to set up an aio. You almost need a bladedancer and sword singer no matter what, but careful because Dark Elves cant be Elves and vice versa, so dont start with an elf or dark elf.

40-60 eh...

class would be helpful but here's some tips:
Open your map (alt+m) and you'll see a world info button, under that is lots of usefull information such as hunting zones etc.

With no buffs, I'd say Giran area, Dragon valley entrance, or Dion area Cruma tower first floor
Once you get 50ish, I like Oren area Outlaw forest
Lots of people like Aden area Cemetary too, around level 50 with no buffs, then if you move toward the forbidden gateway as you get 60 those mobs are right for you also.

In all areas just be aware of the agro.

Thx for the fast reply.

First off, by saying doing dungeons, i mean are there any places we would go as a group of 6 to explore in a dungeon type area, that we would need to be six and possibly find named npc or raid bosses that drop nice items. Sort of like the ant queens lair as i rememer from years ago when i first played.

Second, i guess i rolled a Bladedancer, does that mean i am more just a buffer type, i know alot of people say i am more a support class and not quite a good pvp character but i dont mind rerolling if it saves me the agrevation of being masacred everytime in pvp, after all 40x xp gain, i can level up in a few days.

What do you mean 1 main class and 3 subs....are you talking about 4 characters per account and can we log in with different characters from the same account? I made different accounts so i could 2 box.

But i noticed alot of people with really nice gear, am i to assume they just grinded alot to get the drops and money to get this gear. Since this server is 40x i guess its not that hard to do.

Finally, are we just trying to level up fast to get to the max level so we can pvp better or end raid bosses, or to keep grinding to get more money to keep getting better gear, or just a bit of everything i said.

I hope people understand i am writing these message to also better help new players also, i like this game and server and would like to help newbies like me that feel a little lost. Maybe some people should post as well of the few things they do that we can look forward to. Or the way they found it best to level up andwhat they did along the way to better end game for them.

Thank you!

Nuuk

well, there are at least some "dungeons", ants nest (as u ve said), tower of insolence, imperial tomb, monastry of silent, and last but not least the both lairs of antharas and valakas. in almost all of them are raidbosses located, but some of them are epic (or end)-bosses, so a bit hard to beat with a group of 6.
i guess the best place for this playstile would be the tower of insolence, ofc only if u arent that high in lvl, because there are many bosses located, which can be beaten even with a smaller group of players.

well, a bladedancer in the right hands can be dangerous, even in pvp.
sure, mainly he is a support-char, but he can deal good dmg and with his debuff abiltys and the right equip he becomes a sharp sword in some cases.

once your char reached lvl 75 or higher u can choose a subclass from highpriest 4 example.subclass means you can have up to 4 different proffesions at ONE char (not account).short example, ur bladedancer reaches lvl 75 you can go to a grand magister and choose as subclass spellhowler 4 ex.
if you switch to this new class ur char still remains , but with lvl 40 and with the classrelated skills only (for spellhowler).so u can lvl this subclass too, and if u reach with the sub lvl 75 again u can choose the next sub (a warrior or w/e) and so on. U can switch everytime you are in a town between your subs and mainclass.
btw at least u need one sub at lvl 75+ to become a noblesse char. Noblesse means some nice skills+ the ability to participate in the grand olympiad.

regards LC

edit: btw i suggest for all new players to inform themselves at some websites 4 ex:[Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]
there are almost all information u need so no need to repeat informations again and again.
its a good way to inform about basic facts before i start a game.

Oh Dungeons, I just want to elaborate, there aren't really places that require you to have a certain party size with RB's like you are saying. Although as LC points out 6 might be a pretty small group to take some on. (especially if you you go for a Grand Boss as opposed to a Raid Boss.)

And yes, statics is the ultimate L2 place for quests, information etc.

Good questions really, don't be ashamed to ask more.
