Just as Bloodfreak said, you need to know ZERO programming to contribute.
There's only a small fraction of packet information collected, and you can't make an emulator without knowing the packets. Not to mention most of the information we DO have is based on a single player only (meaning the information was retrieved based on only 1 player playing). Even information on spawning a player is incomplete. I gave up, since I cba working alone, it's difficult to gather information (that requires more than one person playing) by myself, then also having to program the actual emulator.
Assuming I actually do push through and complete the emulator, release it to a community that didn't contribute and continues to not contribute, just not worth it. Plus I lost the ability to sniff a long time ago, seeing as though I can only sniff on local, which guess what, will only have me playing, just dandy.
As for Bloodfreak helping, I won't even consider starting again till him or someone else who I'm sure of can actually program properly in C# jumps along, and I find a suitable server to gather packet information (or someone else does the gathering). Until then I can't be bothered. I was working with one person before, but they just disappeared, so my care level is just dropping.
