Hello people, today i'll release my ModelViewer. This project is not done and some features are missing or wont work correct.But mabye some of you will test the tool.

Description:

  • Stage Vertex Color are wrong

  • DrzModelViewer is an tool for loading stages and models of pristontale client. even old client and new kpt file structures.
  • DrzModelViewer can display model, show the animation nodes, an submesh tree and used materials.
  • DrzModelViewer is able to load and export. stage-smd-files, inx, smd, smb model files, and it convert used textures to view able file format



Missing features and bugs

  • stage collsion tree will not rebuild correctly, if you use the PT client for convert the ase files back to smd
  • subanimations will not export correctly in inx files. maybe some animation will be destroyed if you if you use the PT client for convert the ase/ini files back to smd, smb, inx
  • shared animation files. (player characters will not export correctly
  • Animated Models will not resive the animation in the ModelViewer (there is no need for this) but the export should be ok.

broken attachment system. Download link changed to our PTEmuServer.

Also include some changed.

  • name more Aniamtion types.
  • export Lights.
  • export Vertex Color
  • some bug fixes.

If still anything wrong, tell me.

What on earth is an ifl file?
Me thinks that private server has renamed file extensions.

Can't blame this tool for that.

I dont know why :/
Works to me too, with INX etc (perfectly)

but when i try load stage, dont work...
and u know if can import in 3ds max ASE generated from tool? i converted ASE of assassin

btw i loved this tool, helps me a lot :D:

@ drz u know how import files of new characters in 3ds ? butt and shaman...
bipeds and object are hidden here

@ SunnyZ where you find the ifl file extension? i never see it before.

@ bocadecao, i dont try to load the stages into 3ds. just load them in AssimpView. New class files should work like every other. I see them in Assimp. But note please. Character models use shread animations. They will will store in a seperate inx file wich will not export correctly yet.

Oh that was in response to bocadecao.
He posted an image with en error saying missing file, Looked to be named like a texture file with that ifl extention.
He just edited his post a split second before I replied.

Add a new version of DrzMapViewer.
  • Implement lua-interface for creating custom exporters.
  • Add example of export ase/inx script
  • exporting per lua is little slow

this is my first try with lua, so please be lenient with my coding style.

if you like this tool and/or the lua interface, feel free to use, add or extend it. But please share the progress with us. Thanks.

Dont know, if there are more animation names, but there are more commands. the inx system have to extent indeed.

Hmm.
- It seems that the camera is stretching the width of 3D.
- Can make shortcut to increase or decrease speed of camera

I have questions... You know if can separate the objects from SMD? Example: Have 2 objects , I export to ase , PT convert to SMD and when I import in 3ds again this 2 objects now is just 1.

@@@ I fixed the lights 100%, but i need what you change the source code. :D:

Change this:
*LIGHT_COLOR 0.45490196347237 0.3098039329052 0.42352941632271
To:
*LIGHT_COLOR 0.4510 0.3098 0.4235

To be correct, leave only 5 numbers. So the colors will be correct! (use 5 numbers in ALL (position etc) )
*same in vertex colors

Hello bocadecao,

i see, it was a bad idea to implement the Lua. Its not much valueable to give access to just the export function. Thats why i have remove Version 2 and add the Source to Version 1. Thanks for help on develop this tool. :)

@ all, please read the credits! I really wich, that everyone who extend this tool, make his progress public. Please share you able to add new features or fix bugs based on DrzModelViewer.

Hello people

i want to release a new version of my ModelViewer.

V2 provide:

  • more information about loaded objects.
  • Improved PT-Field Export
  • Improved INX Export.
  • load some Laxelore Fields/Models (Experimental, sometimes it crash or load them wrong.)


Problems:

  • Laxeloremodels can't export yet
  • PT-Animated-Models will export wrong sometimes.
