Greetings my friend...don't even bother...this Forum seems like it wasn't setup for guides and help ... if you do search you will find minimal guides/setup for this server.

People here are too proud and jealous and keep to themselves...its a Bragging game of "I GOT FILES and I PAID form them so I am not giving them out" or whatever...

You might be on your own on this one sadly...I really don't see the point of this section. All other sections on RageZone are VERY VERY helpful minus this one.

It's a bunch of kids fighting here and there (in spanish and other languages)...People take this GAME (remember it is ONLY A GAME)...they take it WAY TOO SERIOUS...more serious than REAL LIFE...but here...thats what happens when you're young and ignorant with NO responsibilities in life but playing a GAME

Sorry to go on ... but that is what I have experienced reading posts here in this section.

I just came over from the Knight Online board and I am going to try to set up a tantra server. When thats complete (if ever) I will post complete setup guides. Spicman is absolutely right and that should really stop. So in order to help with that I will also repost the server files and client after any alterations and give credit where credit is due for the original files.

Im saying this a little prematurely because I dont know what kind of work I'm looking at yet, but I will post the progress. Anyone interested in helping let me know.

I for one am coming from the KalOnline board where it seems to be dying down a bit so I started looking at other Private Servers. I did my share of helping out with releases and such.

Black_Mage, I would be more than glad to help out. I seem to have all the files needed ... I have the computer for it too (Intel Quad Core, 8gb RAM, 1tb of hard drive) so that part is not stopping me. I have all the necessary software as well.

PM and maybe we can come up with something good...meaning an interesting Private Server AND Quality Guides.

I've got mine up to the point where i can log in but I get Kantra Beta III or something like that as a server in the list. I must have done something wrong in the configs but I dont have time to go back and look at the moment. but i am sure i will be adding you and contacting you :)

Sounds good my friend I will add you as well...as it stands I have a Dedicated server that us 3 can work on (if you all like) the files I have (both server and client) I am NOT HORDING (keeping to myself)...so lets see what we can do to get it running...then we can get a DECENT guide laid out here.

The server that I currently have is very good as you can read above.

I think we have the tools and most of the software to get this thing going.

It is in the works as we speak. As soon as we're at a point that it is functioning adequately we will be posting a guide which will include things such as SQL setup, Database and structure, Client Setup, Server Layout, Website...just to name a few. I will be also be in charge of making several Video guides.
The bottom line is: if you can't follow the guides that are eventually laid out here then you don't deserve to run a server (YES it will be that detailed )

If you want to flame me... go right ahead... I am not a kid and I dont do this for a profit...I do this for a hobby and also because I like to give back to the community.

Hopefully once this going and is publicly available it will lead to less unnecessariy questions asked and will also encourage others to contribute and help out.

I can go on and on about this Forum but why bother...I believe RageZone was setup with a specific purpose in mind and that was for SERVER DEVELOPMENT!!!!! Out of all the forums I have been on in RageZone this is by far the worst in terms of just that...

I want to change that (obviously with the help of others here) so that this forum is much more proactive and helpful to the people who seek help.

Although I have been very busy lately, I'm pumped up for this project. No spicman I'm sorry..I don't think there is such a thing as noob proof. I know I've made some noob posts before, then went back to recheck my work after being flamed by some noob without a RL life, and found my mistake..and felt dumb lol. So are we still sitting on 8 working zones? Or did more come out?

You need to come on MSN or something (I added the accounts you gave me)...mrarrieta and I have hooked up and he has set up the server on my host although his time will now be a bit more limited! You are more than glad to do the same to get this thing refined. Then we can share/compare notes to get a good document/guide completed.
