Hi all.

I now decided to release this webpackage so you can get your own Ogame private server :)

If you dont know what Ogame is, go to [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] wich is the original Ogame.
The package contains:

Appserv 2.5.8
Navicat MySQL
Ogame files Fully english + Original ogame login screen + Others.

Guide to setup:

Step 1.
1. Download files here: [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]
2. Unpack all the files to your desktop

Step 2 - Installing Appserv. - Only if you dont have a srv program
1. Open Ogame Server/utlities/appserv-win32-2.5.8.exe
2. Click: Next, I agree, Next, Deselect phpMyAdmin,
3. Write "Localhost" and "YourEmail" .. Next
4. Enter password for MySql ... And Install.
5. When the install is done, go to C:/Windows/php.ini and search for "short_open_tag = Off" and change to "short_open_tag = On"
Step 3 - Installing Ogame Server.
1. Go to Ogame Server/Ogame English Server Files/ ... Copy all files
2. Go to C:/Appserv/www/ Delete existing files.
3. Insert all the Ogame files you Copied
4. Open Config.php and change this:

Open these files with Notepad and change SERVERNAME HERE to your server name:

5. Go to Ogame Server/utlities/Navicat 7.24 + crack/navicat_trial.exe
6. Go to C:\Program Files\PremiumSoft\Navicat MySQL and put in the crack.
7. Open Navicat
8. Click on "connection"
Type this in:
Connection Name: localhost
Host name / IP address: localhost
Port: 3306
Username: Root
Password: "Set in the password from step 2.4"
Press "Test Connection" and if this entirely correct tighten "OK"
9. Double click on localhost (an error may occur, if so open the wamp and try again)
10. Right click on localhost and click "New Database"
Completing:
Enter Database Name:
Ogame
Character set:
Default character set
Click the button "OK"
11. Right click on ogame and select the option "Execute batch file"
Then look for the file named "ogame.sql" from 'Ogame Server/DB MYSQL/' and press "OK"
12. Close Navicat
13. Find "ntwdblib.dll" in the folder 'Ogame Server/utilities' and copy to to "C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.6\bin" Overwrite existing file
14. Reboot your pc.
15. Go to [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] and find your router.
16. Find Apache, Scroll down a little, Follow the guide.
17. Go to [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] copy your ip and paste to Adress, and Voila ! Now you got your own Ogame server.

12) Make a click on the icon navicat again vallan to the following address: PHP> PHP.ini
Look for the following line "short_open_tag = Off" will appear 2 lines equal, the switch off on the
13) Close wamp
14) Open wamp
15) the shape of config.php ogame (C:\wamp\www\config.php)
16) Open with notepad and edit the following lines:
"Server" => "localhost", // MySQL server name. (Default: localhost)
"User" => "root", // MySQL username.
"Passport" => "", // GundamMySQL password. (Some have root password and some have nothing)
"Name" => "ogame", // MySQL database name.
17) Save
18) Enter the "ntwdblib.dll" in the folder "utilities" to "C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.6\bin" (replace with already)

Ports to be open: 25 in 3306 (port 80 I am not sure, but if you want to be sure open them)

Hmm, its the same version released before and its kinda old and dont have the newest featues.
I just translated it fully, and added a cooler login page.

There is few bugs like:
Energy doesnt update.
Sometimes you cant change planet with the dropmenu in the top.
Sometimes it doesnt register your clicks, and u have to click more times.

Theres a bit more wich i cant remember, but the game is fully playable.

Looks like u placed it in cgi_bin...

You have to place the files in www folder, or html_pub (Or was it pub_html)

hmm where we can change the max colonize planet .. standart is at 9 its lil low XD .. in what file i find the option for it ^^

lol :P those files that iBimbo released are my files (released long time ago when ugamela project was active) i have translated all things in it,but i have some updates (from other sources) but they are in turkish,and i dont know what they mean ;)

I recommend using webservers for browser games. makes it easier and they can run 24/7

There are even free webservers out there that allow php and mysql, you just need to know how to find them :P (which isnt hard)

Also, did you translate the Messages page? that page is still in turkish for me (I didnt use your files btw). If so, I will download yours and use some of your files ^^

I edited mine too much to overwrite all of my files with yours lol

Are you sure it's yours? Why didn't you include darktron in your credits? Why do you claim ownership for files you do not really own?

How did you add an admin panel?
What was the bug on the registration page and how did it get fixed?
What was the bug in the admin server setting menu and how did it get fixed?
What was the bug with the alliances and how did it get fixed?
Galaxy page was broken, how did it get fixed? It did not show users/planets/moons/debris/fields

darktron claims to be a victim of so-called copyright infringement, he claims that you used to be part of his staff for his OGame server ([Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]) and that he apparently shared the files with you before you leaked them, here. His old link used to be: gameo.freehostia.com which got shutdown because of multiple complaints received from his webhost for reasons of CPU overusage. He also says that he was using those files way before they were released here. The post date on his("darktron") server advertisement topic says 2-11-2008 which was over a month ago, and your thread date says 03-02-2008.

MonsterGames.net is a freshly new created domain, you can [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]. darktron's post was created on 2-11-2008

Why didn't you add darktron in your so-called credits but left it on your gameo server mainpage([Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]) ([Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...])?

Your GameO toolbar leads to gameoathcx.toolbar.fm which is owned by darktron as well. ([Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]) ([Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...])

If you actually own this toolbar account, please provide me with the login details. Oh and, who is the provider of this toolbar?

it was not a problem to setup. i have fixed some errors from your package, but....

there are few things that are rly serious and doesnt work.

1. when you get the moon you dont see it on the overview page and actually you cant even switch to it.
2. attacked player doesnt seas upcoming attack. is it connected to old version problem?

so, can you check it?

on the changelog stands fixed from 0 to 15 planets .. but dont works .. after 9 planets it dont want get any more ^^
