TitanMS pserver = bad ?

Hi
I recently made a pserver with TitanMS .55 and I was wondering if it was a good idea, cuz a lot of things, maps and npcs don't work. I was wondering what would be the best repack to make a server. And if possible in C++ because I don't understand anything in Java.
and how do I edit what npcs say ?

v55 titan sucks , get v60 + titan they're good, if not go to odin

Thanks, is there a .61 or .62 good titan ms ?

And If I get .62, and one day I will want to upgrade to .63 when it'll come out, will I have to restart the whole server ?

if i want to move from .61 to .62 (example), will I have to restart everything in my server ? or do I only change the localhost ?

Yes, you will have to modify the source,

no titan doesnt suck.
well the previous titan like v55 did suck cause it dcs very often.
well now a days most ppl work with odin, but if u are a big c++ fan, or like c++ better, than jsut go with that. but if u need lots of help i prefer u use odin.

wow you people need to stop talking out of your asses. v.55 titan didn't d/c nor did it have any errors. The only problem most people had was coding c++, so i suggest you go with odin or vana if you really want to go c++

it does dc. especially kryticals source. if u summoned like 2 zakums, the .bats go crazy and dcs.

C++ is probably the one with more potential-

Java is already at its max--Some people are amazing at coding C++, I love it.

People are going to start C++ (AKA SPARKS) and actually make it grow -

I'm not suggesting anything, but C++ is going to be awesome one day :D

Guys I really dont get what the C++ vs Java thing is all about. If you stick with either one you will EVENTUALLY learn it. I mean take me for example. About 1-2 months ago I had almost no knowledge about Java, .php and XML. After I started my server and cms for development purposes, I learned a lot. I did start out with titan at first and I hated it, but if I had stayed with Titan, I would have learned C++. Titan d/ced me after I killed one snail >< Odin is more stable and in my opinion much easier to edit. And its annoying me that everyones like C++ is better.....C++ beats Java......C++ this....C++ that yet like 90% of all things on RaGEZONE for Odin.

C++ and Java are familiars, if you know C++, you know Java at least the syntax. It's matter of looking a logic sense, not really hard.

TitanMS dose'nt sucks, it's just that it have a lack of dev.

No, C# and Java have a more similar syntax.

Java and C++ are extremely different.

TitanMS isn't that bad but it's not much updated,that's why vana started to fix everything in TitanMS.

In fact, C++ is a lot better for MS developing. But there are few other good reasons why people use Java instead of C++. First of all, the best & first release was made with java, including a lot of things. (Meanwhile, TitanMS only had few features and maps working) After a OdinMS released their server files, a lot of java developers got interested and started developing. And I don't think that koolk wanted anyone to help him at that point.

Anyways, I don't see TitanMS as a bad choise. Your server will just need a lot more developing and fixing. And don't forget that there are a lot people who know C++ and you will always be able to get help. In my opinion, just roll on. I'd suggest you to get some of the Vana releases. They seem pretty good.
