Anyone know what this means?

Means your java is not 1.7. Downgrade your java to 1.7.

Why do NPC's or any text dialogue always have n's on the side?

When I spawn pets their names show up like this and they are unequipable. Anyone know how to get them working?

(I know I imported higher version pets but it still did this with the stock wz.)

Anyways, I assume most of you know about this annoying issue:

Where N's appear with mainly hardcoded NPC's giving quests, etc. Well, I figured out a way to get rid of that any v83 client, a simple workaround. It fixes the issue for me, and hopefully for you as well. I hated how I needed to download a clean localhost in order to fix the issue. So, I figured that the problem occurred like writing a bad NPC.

You need to download a program called STREDIT by Diamondo25.

You need to search this: "*list0*" (without the quotes) in the search bar. Clicking Search twice will bring you to the lines with the strings:

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list1#\r\n

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list0#\r\n

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list3#\r\n

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list2#\r\n

#d#L%d# %s#l#k\r\n

They were in that order, with my client. Anyways, what you need to do is remove (backspace) the '\n'. Making them just like this:

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list1#\r

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list0#\r

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list3#\r

\r\n\r\n#fUI/UIWindow.img/UtilDlgEx/list2#\r

#d#L%d# %s#l#k\r

Save the client as a new client or overwrite it, log in, and the problem should be gone. Like so:

UPDATE: Server is up and working

New issue though, i cannot get past login screen , whenever i click the "login" button it disconnects.

UPDATE: Had to open 7575 port and the rest and its working. woot!

Hi, just a newbie question as im quite new to this private server business. I've read tutorials on how to make a private server, and i've put all the JCE files that i've downloaded both from java page and

Now theres no error showing in my launch.bat, and it even shows that i've connected to my server, which im currently setting as localhost, and am using the localhost provided by the previous link as well. Somehow im stuck at the loading screen after ive tried to enter a account which i created in the database. I've check online and people are saying that is related to the JCE policy files, however i've reinstalled both java and the server many times but i cant seem to get pass the login page. Is there something wrong?

Hi im having a problem with using hamachi. I changed the config to the hamachi as well as the client but when i start the launch.bat everything comes up with no errors but when i click on the client nothing happens i check my task manager nothing is there no firewall pops up even my norton doesnt say anything. it only seems to work when the ip is localhost (127.0.0.1)

Seem to have run into a ton of script errors, anyone know what the hell I did wrong? I was certain I did everything correctly.
