Instead of going through the hassel of installing microsoft loopback adapter follow these steps:

1. goto Here to find your lan ip address.

2. replace your old ip address in your servers config files with the new one.

3. Now you have to port foward if you know how.... foward the following ports if you didn't change them. [MYSQL: 3306 || Login Server: 8484 || Channel Server: 7575 - 7595 || WebSite: 80]

4. Now hex edit your client with the new ip you got from whatsmyip.org.

5. have fun..

I have this problem and i havent found a full fix but i did find a 80% login chance (estimate)
Enable Loopback adapter then when a character selection screen open pic, close it, open again and put in pic. VIOLA it sometimes doesnt work but its bearable

Lol whatsmyip.org gives you your WAN ip not your LAN ip.you get your lan ip by going to cmd, typing ipconfig/all, and looking at the ipv4 address.
