How to make a MapleStory Private Server

I will show you how you can setup a MapleStory private server. Just follow these easy
and up-to-date instructions and you will be up and running in a few minutes.

1) Getting Started:

First go to C:\
Once there make 2 folders, call them whatever you want but for this tutorial I'll name it 'XiuzSource' and 'Downloads'.

Now it should look like this:
C:\XiuzSource
C:\Downloads

2) Programs needed:

Download these programs/files.
Place everything inside the C:\Downloads folder.

• Java SE Development Kit (JDK) [Link for 32bit OS] || [Link for 64bit OS]
• MySQL Query Browser [Link]
• WampServer [Link]
• LocalHost v62 [Link]
• JCE Unlimited Strength Files [Link]
• XiuzSource v62 [Link]
• WZ Files [Link]

Optional (Not really needed)

• MySQL Server 5.1 [Link for 32bit OS] || [Link for 64bit OS]

Make sure you chose the correct version matching your Operating System (OS) to avoid any problems.

3) Installations:

Before we start make sure that everything is extracted if its in a .rar format.

Installing WampServer:

Follow the instructions and install it at:
c:\Wamp

Don't worry about putting your e-mail and such at the end just press finish.

Once your done installing run it and you will see the Wamp icon on the bottom right corner.
Left click it and click 'Put Online'.
Then Left click it again and click 'Start All Services'.

Installing MySQL Query Browser:

Very simple just run the installation file, agree to the terms and follow the instructions.

Installing Java SE Development Kit (JDK):

Before we do this right click your computer icon and click properties.
Depending on what system type your computer has you will either use 32bit or 64bit.
So install the corresponding file.

Another simple installation just follow the instructions.

4) Files placement:

Take the two files from the folder (JCE Unlimited Strength Files) and copy them.
Paste them into these places, overwrite if prompted.
(The (jdk1) folder version can be different, its ok).

C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\ext
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\security
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\lib
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\jre\lib
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\jre\lib\ext
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_16\jre\lib\security

5) Server files:

Copy all the files inside the XiuzSource folder into the folder we made earlier. So it looks like this.

C:\XiuzSource\ <files and folders here>

Now copy the WZ folder inside the XiuzSource folder.
So it should look like this.

C:\XiuzSource\WZ\ <Folders here>

6) SQL Setup:

Go to C:\XiuzSource\SQL and open the file 'XiuzSource.sql' with the SQL query browser.
Execute the file.

7) Preference setup:

(This part is optional if your running the server for your computer only)
Go to C:\XiuzSource
Open the file called 'world.properties'.
Update the IP and the rest to your liking.

8) Start Server:

Go to C:\XiuzSource
Open the file called '[XiuzSource] Launcher.bat'.
Wait 20 seconds, then that's it!

What i need to do with the localhost thing?

Evrything is working but i didnt do the copy all the files in the source so that isnt realy needed

And another question

How can i when i start the bats that there only 1 bat for all the 3 things

Password for the admin account is XiuzSource (CaSeSeNsItIvE).

You would need to make a new bat file that opens all 3 bats in one.

What i need to do with the localhost thing?

Is to put it in with the v62 maplestory folder. That was not listed in this tutorial.

Do you have Java installed? Is it the same as your system type? 32bit-64bit?

I Already log in but why the only character there is not admin,why u erased that guy,how to change password or create new accounts?,how to change to admin?,are the commands the same as thePack repack(v80)
