he cant "give" you a private server, also it takes some time.
for people like me, who made this thousand times already its easy to setup a ms privateserver, for others not.

I've been getting this error. I don't know where I went wrong. Is it because my WAMP icon isn't white? If that's the case my icon never turns white. :(

That's a problem in the source, I'm working on it.

Yes, the Wamp icon must be white.

It does matter what IP you put there, the server might start but you won't be able to log-in and play.

The problem is it never turns white. I left clicked the icon MySQL>my.ini and changed all the 3306's to 1000's and it still doesn't turn white. Also I've made sure that I've started the services and its online.

Make sure you have your firewall settings correct.
Try turning it off and see if it works. Also make sure you portforward correctly.

Ultimately make sure there isn't another program using the ports needed for the private server.

Ports: 80, 7575-7577, 8484

Oh great.. But for World it stays like that and for the others, it does the java error..

No idea what I'm doing. But I wanted to try and make one. Followed your guide to the letter. But this came up;

Spent an hour trying to figure out what I've done wrong. But alas, to no avail. Any assistance anyone can give me?

The only problem I am getting, is after the point of the character selection screen. If I create a new one, or log onto the ones premade 'admin, ZenthosDev, Owner', it will let me play for a few seconds, but then it randomly fades me out of the game, then outputs the "You have been disconnected from the server. Please try again later" message at the main menu screen of the game.

I followed the instructions step by step, including the java file replacement. Any help? (I have MySQL Query Browser opened and executed, along with the ZenthosDev [OneW] running)

Hey XiuzSu,

First off, your tutorial is excellent. I followed it, made a few errors, were able to fix my errors, and now the server works, almost.

Second, did you know the new wamp is different? It needs to be Green to be online with no problems.

Finally. The only problem I am having, is that I can't get passed the Channel Selection screen. It just keeps loading with the "Connecting to Server" dialog/loading box.
