Most probably you didn't do it correctly, or there's some problem with the hex editor you're using.

No offend, but it's a worst choice to make.
You will most probably find out that you getting problem with the application.

I feel more comfortable with editors such as Notepad; they're easier to use.

;D Actually your precious post remind me of the powerful Notepad which some of the people actually use it to code html, php, css ects..

Do you know how to remove swear filter, make Nx droppable and remove GG?

I don't know about swear filter, the last 2 is already working. Just search for it, someone released the file.

Umm that could be many things, i think you do have to change loginpacket.cpp or w/e to your ip, also you need to port forward if you have a router or it wont connect.
LoginPacket.cpp controls where members log in from. 120.0.0.1 is wrong location. It should be changed so people can connect if it's not changed they will get booted off in login.

Uhm, when i hex edit it with my IP, and put it in my MS folder i open it and it opens up regular maplestory and gameguard loads and stuff...

Make sure you hex edit 3 IPs, and the client you're using isn't GGless.

when i edit it says abnormal program termination :O because of C++ any one knoes something??

It says it's not a win32 application, so it can't be opened. :(
