just wanna ask if i am doing the right stuffs on a d-link router.
after doin it , this is what i got .

Name : Maplestory Private Server 1
Private IP : 222.164.202.145 ( this is what i got from mywanip.com )
Protocool : * 8484/8484
Schedule : always

you have to port forward to make the server playable? because i cant use my current server and i dont know how to make the {} sign when posting help topic and my threads keep getting deleted lol and my previous server didnt need to portfoward

Just put [Help] in your title, and your server doesn't have to be port forwarded to be playable.

The one that provides internet is called a modem, the one that provides the wireless is the router.
Just follow the guide and it should all come together

um so modem dont need to portforward?

go to list of guides according to router and find your model, then for application, select apache, and replace all the 80 ports in that guide with the maple ports
