Okay, this guide will help people connect to themselves.

Step One -

If it is in Simple View, change it to Category View.
Then go to "Printers and Other Hardware"

Step Two -
On the left hand side, there should be a link named
"Add Hardware"
Select it.
Click Next and let it search.

Step Four -
After installation you need to configure the network.
Go to: Control Panel > Network and Internet Connections > Network Connections

Select and right click the newly made Network and select properties.
Highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and press Properties.
Select "Use the following IP address" and fill in your information.
Except for your IP Address, use your WAN IP.

Re: [Guide] Setting Up - Microsoft Loopback Adapter

erm.. i would like to ask how to can i use a dynamic ip for loopback adapter.Because dynamic IP kept on change which mean i have to change the TCP/IP setting when ever my IP changes or is there any other way, so that i need not change the TCP/IP setting with dynamic IP.

:]

Re: [Guide] Setting Up - Microsoft Loopback Adapter

When I try to connect to my IP adress, the page I get to says ( 403 Forbidden)
"Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server."

Does that have to do with administrative permissions on my comp ? Or is this due to something else ?

Thanks in advance :).

Re: [Guide] Setting Up - Microsoft Loopback Adapter

Or, you could goto no-ip and make a SHORT domain there, make a co.nr domain that goes to the no-ip and hex the url into your client, and put the url into your world.properties.
