    MapleStory Java Client

Hi MapleStory community. I bring to you a new possibility to MapleStory, and I also bring to myself a possible lawsuit. Test out my client, it's obviously not done yet. Any coding support is welcome, have fun.

I uploaded the Java MapleStory client, download and test it out.

um, okay. Now my question is: how much of this is actually client code, and not just an animation done in Java?

100% of it is client code, obviously graphics rendering will take more work. im almost done with login portion so far, have yet to do WZ reading.

Seriously? 7KB JAR? Is this a joke? There is nothing but a load of images I can tell.

I can't receive Private Messages (PM) so don't try it.

When I opened it it was just the wizet logo and the nexon screen.

Oh right, I didn't saw the link. Either way, I decompiled, and I wasn't wrong at all... It just loads images with threads, which pretty much sucks, I mean, you will create 1 class per image that move? You won't end this near to 2055.

First of all, this is nothing new. See NoLifeStory.
Second of all, Nexon is not going to shit their pants. If they were going to shit their pants they would've done it when I released NoLifeStory, and as of yet I haven't gotten as much as a peep from them.
You've got a LOT of work ahead of you if you intend to get anywhere with this. If you have the patience and time, you might have something good in about 2 years, supposing MapleStory is still around by then.
If you do decide to continue with this project, I'll be glad to assist you with any questions you may have about the wz data and how the client works.

Yeah I know its nothing new. And plus the expression "NEXON will shit their pants" means that NEXON will consider this "illegal" activity even though I see nothing illegal about it. Yes I know a lot of people are like, "this shit ain't real" or "you'll never get this done." Honestly, graphics rendering and networking can be a pain in the ass especially if you never worked with Swing or Applets which is my case. Anyways, I'll be working on this for quite a while. And I probably will need some help, glad you could offer it. First off, I'm looking for a method of reading images and data from the WZ file itself. You know what I mean?
