Ascent Help Fast about versions!

Hello Guys!
I am new in server wow and want to know what i need to make my server!
I know i need Ascent X.X and the game client, also i need to to configure, but i want to know what versions i can work:

-What wow stable version i should use?
-What Ascent version i should use?
-I can build this on Windows 7?
