This is a standalone server with MaNGOS, Apache, PHP, SQLyog, MySQL,Themed Website inc. Forums all PRE-INSTALLED! Plus UDB database is imported during installation & installer has option to extract dbc, map & vmap files from your client. Also included is AmberGUI a small program I created to launch and backup your servers & restart them if they terminate or become unresponsive as well as hiding the console windows from the desktop and tools including dependancy files extraction. Just a different flavour of MaNGOS for your consumption & with updates that are released frequently [7-14 days] your always upto date. Enjoy! *burp* :egg:
Details...Download is 3~50Mb depending on version.
Requires Netframework 3.5 SP1 or greater
Just run installer and READ the pre-installation notes and then check the \docs folder for ReadMe.rtf and the revision logs for whats changed.

Please Note:It is my intention to encourage people to actively assist in the respective projects development by removing the initial steep learning curve of installing and configuring mysql & apache servers and compiling the source.
The reality is that a much more stable platform can be achieved with proper MySQL & Apache installations running as services and a mangos core/Db compiled from the latest svn sources by you on the pc that runs the server. Use it as you see fit but understand my intentions.

its not legal to supply maps etc but you will find Ive included the extractors so you can extract as part of the installation

How long is the Vmap Extractor supposed to take? I've been waiting 7 hours.
Here is a picture of the Vmap Extractor:

The last sentence translated is: "Vmapextract.exe_v2 is not an internal command, external command, Program or commandfile"

Edit: Got it working, i just closed the cmd window and ran the program after that i went to the tools selection and chose vmaps and started the extraction, now it works

My mistake...Im trying to pipe the output to a directory that doesn't exist...eek
edit the ExtractVmaps.bat file and change the line...

vmapextract_v2.exe >>"%base%"\vmaplog.txt
to
vmapextract_v2.exe

will fix it. Alternatively don't tick vmaps in the installer and use AmberGUI tools tab for the extraction.

Edit...Ive redone the full release with new extractor. Should stop any problems

Now just another problem i can't modify my realm. Or i can't modify my realm "icon" from PVP to RP, tried a couple of diffrent methods, none worked!

...Also you'r amber release smells of awesomeness!

Should this repack work with the latest client patches from Blizz?
Because I have the latest patches and I get the "Can't validate blabla"

With Ascent we were able to set the game version to max 9999, is this also possible with mangos?

Yes Amber work whit last blizz patch you dont need to set nothing your problem can be another thing.

are you sure you have correct realmlist or you change somthing after intall it?

Only thing I changed is the 127.0.0.1 in the realmd DB to my local lan.
I also had the problem when everything was default.

At this moment I try again to extract the dbc , maps and Vmaps and see
the following errors in the extraxtion window (dos shell) :

Error opening archive './Data/patch-2.mpq
and the same for the enGB directorie patch2.mpq

Any ideas on this?
The Ambergiu don't show any errors while extracting.

hey man i talk to my friend and he told me if u use the new patch mangos dont suport yet (2.4.2) only (2.4.1)
