hehe fouynd type of encryption. its not been a encryption is a file compress using zlib now i will do it in paktool, and i will try to add pack function.

EDIT: Download the new paktool now extract all files(compressed/uncompressed)

Big problem - when I click the unpack.bat file (after editing the batchfile to contain the apropriate pakfile name) I receive the message :

"The system cannot find the specified program. press any key to continue".

Also when I doubleclick on just the paktool.EXE, i get the following :

"this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Re-installing the application may fix this problem".

What am I doing wrong?

Problem Solved, needed the Visual C 9 redist. after much searching I found it and got everything running. Now to take a poke at the resulting mess and see if I can find anything interesting.

Just in case anyone hasn't figured it out yet, here is some help with both types of captchas uses in the game.

Initial bot-check (done when you first login) :


Just enter the code (in lowercase only) and click the small button to the right of the text entry box.
If you are having problems reading the code, press the large button at the bottom of the box to request a new code.

Periodic bot-check (done randomly when you're actually playing) :


This took me a little while to figure out. nice system though...
The dialog will appear, With a code, and (in the long string of chinese) a number. This number indicates which character of the code you should select. The character should be in the row of random buttons. Just click the appropriate letter in enter your code.
If you are having problems reading the code, press the large button at the bottom of the box to request a new code.

No need to for the captchas, every one I've gotten has been standard english alphabet + numbers.

Update :

Got the edits working properly - turns out you can't just edit the .xml files in WordPad, you need a GOOD xml editor like XMLSpy (which is the program Gamigo used to write the files in the first place.).

Kogin Screen and OSKbd - I know there's a typo in there.


Game Menu (AKA System menu).


Quit Confirmation Dialog.


Help System (raw translation).


Help System (fixed translation).


I have a ton more work to do though. All the quest infos and help pages still need to be translated, along with the rest of the interface.

I've decided not to use the English files as a base unless both Google Translate and Babelfish are spewing utter nonsense.

dont use english files has come with teh client is old and incomplete(its a try to make multi-language but failed and outdated) u need to translate by yourself chinese files(the "chinese" folder) forget the use of english only use it as base but nothing in it is usefull too outdated.
