i'm using VMware workstation .
follow my step
1. open VM, then : edit > Virtual Network Editor
2. add network VMnet8 ( NAT type ) ->after add new network --> click NAT Setting
3.remember IP
Gateway IP. i call it 192.168.xx.A
(sometime you have different 192.168.xxx.xxx)
No need remember Subnet IP
4.power on your VM ( ofcourse run your win server on VM )
<i'm using win xp ^^ >
open your network on desktop
5. setting like my screenshot.
you can use whatever B but , B not same string with A and subnet IP
6. ping 192.168.xx.B at VM server by cmd ( start -> run -> cmd -> ping 192.168.xx.b )
use 192.168.xx.B . that's your IP to connect network , add that IP to param.ini of client, cfg file of server
run your server
if it connect, you done !
8. run your client. and enjoy ! :junglejane:
Note : if you use hamachi, use the IP hamachi give you to connect, creat network on hamachi, then connect that network at client side by hamachi of client
if you use VM net 8, no need hamachi anymore ! tested !tt1:
