[Help] Timeout, when i want to connect to my server

Ok. I got a problem. I wanted to create a cabal-private server. I followed the tutorial of Chumpy and I've successfully set up a MSSQL2005 DB, a CentOS 4.7 VPC and yeah.. everything looks like it works fine. There are no errors when i start the centos-server and also no errors in the db. The problem is, when I want to connect to the server, the connection times out. The server is running on a root-server (rented) so the ip is always the same. I hope that some of you are able to help me. (I am very new to cabal private servers.. if I should send some log files or sth like that. pls tell me where they are located. :D)

If i missed any important informations pls tell me.

EDIT: I think there are some problems with the internet connection of CentOS. The problem is, that idk how to fix that. I tried all the guides on that forum. :( Is there a way to fix that with a dedicated server ( the server has only 1 IP )
