A trigger is not really a good way of doing this. Every time the character table is updated every single row in the table gets updated. As each online char constantly updates the char table your database is constantly rewriting the entire table and the more online chars you have the db will get slower and slower.

You can minimise the impact by altering the query to only update values that actually need updating rather than the entire table every time.

This has been asked for many many time and the answer will always be the same. You need to learn how to use the char templates and also how to edit the server binary values.

I have also said many times that this is a very bad idea. First using combo at level 1 is pretty pointless as you have too few skills to use, no SP and not enough MP for the skills. Giving board and bike skills is useless as you don't have the stats to use the boards bikes (i think 1 board is usable only with no stats).

Also these items come from quests and skipping random quests is not a good idea. What happens when the player gets to that quest?

Lastly, why would you want everybody on the server to have boards and bikes? The idea of those items is that they are rare and hard to get. If you are going to just give away the rare items they are no longer rare, every town is full of bikes and players have nothing to work towards so they get bored and leave after a few hours at best.
