That file contains a preview of 2.5 but not the final version. All of the same fuctionality is there but it is laid out a little different. You can install my 2.5 on dor's virtual machine and tell it to do an upgrade to have the latest though.
Look in .etc/cabal/docs/clientfiles/data as my enc files are in there.
This is a client problem, your client data does not match the server data. Check the stivkies for answers or use my client files with a clean US client as described in .etc/cabal/docs.
Yes the dbs are still the same. Upgrading existing dbs is a bit of a nightmare and until i work out a reliable way of doing that i can't do much with the dbs
Checksum errors means that one of the server binaries (usr/bin) isn't the right version. This should never, ever happen on my files as the install script does the updates for you to prevent people getting this part wrong. Run cabal_install.sh again or, if you aren't using my files, make sure you copy the right ones.

I have tried to import a "xp_md5.dll" into my MSSQL2005 DB but i didn't succed...
The initlog warnings can be ignored. The commands is part of the services start/stop functions in centos 4 and while they still exist in centos 5 they won't much longer. At some point soon i will probably change it to be more centos 5 friendly.i have a question, i am having some problems with this but i think it is because centOS

and when i try to install or run the server (after configuring all!) , some freak errors appeared.

It is saying that xp_md5 isn't found in the "master" database. Check it exists in the extended procedures folder or re-run the query to add it and make sure you create in the master db and nother one of the others.
This will be an ip config problem. IPAddress= and AddrForClient= in the worldsvr inis should be the wan ip as should all of the client internal.txt's.
If you get errors that files are corrupt then it is a problem with your client. Right now i only support a clean US client + my server patch. We have a half dozen different client patches being used in an even bigger number of different clients and as each client (EU/US/BR etc) has slightly different data it is causing most of the issues we are seeing. My own combination is far from perfect as i know several things don't work, however i have yet to find any crashes and right now i'm concentrating on stability over everything else.
The method there is still perfectly fine. The reason i closed that topic was down to the reorganisation of the forums a while ago, there is now a proper section for guides (they were in releases before) so i chose to start a new topic for my 2.5 release to seperate the release from the guides.
You can use centos 4 or centos 5 as both work. I recommend 4 though as it is what the server was designed for and it is slightly simpler.
