I lost motivation after losing the files on a hdd that I fiddled with, came back now to finish the release, luckily all of the files were still up. tt1:

Cabal EP8 Server v0.1.0.0 beta for CentOS 6.4 is now available.

Changes/Features
- The package uses a local CentOS repository for offline package installation.
- The start up now uses a 6 second delay before chat node
- cabal init.d now uses cabal_start.sh instead
- All of the annoying installation, startup and shutdown issues are fixed
- Vikalitan event with status bar
- KomeKeto's buffer configuration that improves speed/performance by using more memory, other missing configurations added
- Most if not all of the errors that occur during start-up are now resolved
- 20 different channel templates (pending)
- Crond preconfigured for NationWar, special channel, cabal and network service restart if crash (beta)
- Startup and shutdown of cabal service perfected
(Services now stop in the opposite order and crond starts last and stops first as well, which prevent the service script from restarting the cabal)
- Changed drop-able only Items (with option 0 only or what ever it was) to cannot drop, client side also
- Added cabal_restartlog which deletes all of the files inside the cabal log folder and restarts the services
- All of the txt config files are now in Unix format, as a resoult,.. the crond now works out of the box
- The installation disables the following services (beta)

The reduced CPU thing, enabled event and Tpoint shop will be in there faster then you can say butter.

I downloaded the files for the 3rd time now, after deleting/losing them altogether months ago, again. Luckily I have a 5TB drive now, so space and backups of file archives wont be a problem now.

The website idea has long been gone to the digital heaven world of 0's. The shop items will instead be ingame at station NPC's.

What with the Bug in Bloody Ice Warehouse?
Can I drop the items now?
Which content does contain your latest release?

At the moment i use Extornias Files and work fine for me. But is miss some features that you have included in your files, like NW
So i plan to set up a second server with the files from you

Is there any working client for Win10? Xtrap closes after few seconds I launch it and the game won't start.. Anyone has an idea how to solve this?

You need an cabalmain.exe without xtrap. Search in some related threads in this forum and you will find one.

Thanks manticore for the suggestion! Yes, it seems like this Xtrap version is not compatible with Win10 and that causes this error.

Solved this with a new cabalmain.exe that has breaklee too. I found it here if anyone else needs this.

Everytime i install the 32 bit or 64 bit , all works fine for 2 to 3 mins and server up and running , BUT the centos root password changes , i created clean centos hundreds of items and everytime i install the game server cabal-server-ph-1.0-1.i386.rpm the centos root password changes

Hi, i got problem, when i use cabal_rates.sh and make 500x exp rates, come to server and my char didn't got exp, i was restore db's and nothing, could anyone help me or tell me what i must do?

I tried it in CentOS v5.8 but there is a lot of error during installation, then after i start cabal there are 5 modele that cant run.

Better use CenTOS 6.4 because CentOS 5.8 is EOL (End of Life)
That means no support on the OS.

I run 3 Cabal Servers on my ESXi 6.5 Server all with CentOS 6.4 and win7 for MSSQL 2008 Server and it runs perfectly with that repack

Also one hint: use TGCabal and the client fix from the repack 0.9 client fix to use if you use different client fix cabal will update the client

Are you using the OS into a virtual Machine there are two possible fixes...
1. may you have to turn on the VR options on your BIOS setup
2. Your CPU cant run VR Technologies

I think everthing is ok, all services are running, now you should be able to connect to your server, I do not understand your problem

He do not have to open the Ports on his Router, if his server runs lokal
He just have to make sure iptables on centos is disabled and also other firewalls on centos!
