The open fail is not the problem. You will still be able to connect/see the serverlist and play normally.

cabal_install.sh

My apologies it has to be chmod. Linux in general is a case-sensitive OS which I seem to forget too oftenly.

Delete the two entries in database EventData -> cabal_ems_event_table

You did not use the repack, if you did that error would not happen. Make sure to wipe /etc/cabal and install again if you did.

Did you guys use VirtualBox? how do you setup the network? I am on a dedicated server machine my IP in the network is already my WAN ip..

I installed centos on Vbox when I ifconfig I see the IP 10.0.2.15 when I ping from vbox to my host IP it has connection but when I ping from host to vbox(10.0.2.15) no connection?..

During the installation on a 32bit CentOs 5.8 system i got a error

I installed yum already.
