looks like im in need of some help again D:

i cant seem to connect to my server .
im using NAT and i've tried my wan,lan, and also hamachi ip's in internal.txt & genconfig2. i portforwarded the 3 ports but my wan doesnt work. i've gotten to the server list before when using lan ip but thats just cause its my own comp and since i want my friends to play thats not an option. i am on a wireless network with an at&t cheapy router. any ideas? :(

I have never used Hamachi so to be honest i don't know what addresses it uses. The way i understand it Hamachi makes a bit lan between you and anyone else on your Hamachi network so using the lan should be ok (i think).

I am probably going to have to install Hamachi to test this as it does seem to be the simplest way to get the server working behind a router :(

I have been testing a hamachi setup tonight so i have more of an idea how it works. I will be posting a guide for router owners tomorrow as i need to do some images.

The guide has been added to the first post. It is only a very basic guide as i don't really like Hamachi as a solution for routers, but it should help until we find something better.

i just realized why hamachi didnt work for me. hamachi on linux cant connect to other users on hamachi. i tried pinging it on my windows and it didnt work.got any idea or know how to unblock it? i must've misfollowed a step or something :[

Ok wierd stuff I got.. Anyone knows how to change the path do xp_md5.dll, coz it automaticly sets to D:\cabal\xp_md5.dll oO and not the system32 folder.., might have been the mssql2k I had earlier dunno :/

@sevenmore if you enter your sql got to were the xp_md5.dll instruction is stored in your master , you can change the path for it in its details.

Ok next problem, I use the US client with Patch_Login__SHARED_BY_DARKXL_, but it doesn't seem to work, I can't connect to the server
