You put in config check for WAN IP, but its your machine not connected to internet... config just stoped... I am erase this record in my config and all fine now, just info for you. Better add somthing like "you want find your WAN IP, y, n... or skip it"

You activate TG in config, but you know TG work only with correct cabal_itemserial_table, you add new one in you DB or your server v2 work fine with old table?

@dedeku - That is not normal no. What do your logfiles say as that makes me think of DB connection problems.

@novacorp - It is just asking which versionof the Centos libs to use. For Centos 4.x just press Enter as it has them already and for Centos 5 say N and it will use Yum to try and find what it needs.

@gpadmin - Follow what Xcell says to update. If you do it that way you will probably have to set permissions on /home/cabal/cabal_install.sh manually as normally install_cabal.sh would take care of that.

There is no decent cashshop available to the public now only custom ones certain servers have written for themselves.

The WAN IP detection will eventually time out even if no internet access is available and i enabled it by defauly because or the number of people that get it wrong. Generally i would expect servers to be online but it is a good point and i will add a way of avoiding the check.

The ItemSerial table was soemthing i fixed in the databases ages ago, you will notice my INIT_GAMEDB stored procedure handles it where it doesn't in other DBs. TG should be fully working and has been for ages in my repack if you knew how to switch it on.

@JoniverPH - I have not added the mithril drops because i wanted the default settings to be default and adding mithril to MF is a mod. You can just copy the tweaked MF file in to enable mithril though.

Are you managing the server remotely? If you are then SQL2005 doesn't allow remote connections by default and you will either have to config from the server or allow remote connections to it. You might also not have WMI installed so try starting he "MSSQLSERVER" service using the services panel in admin tools in your control panel and see if that works.

At the centos terminal as root type "service cabal status" and check each of the processes are running. If they all are then bad config is pretty much all that will stop you from logging on and if you get that then /var/log/cabal is where to look for clues.

2. How i can change cost for enter on TG... atm here 1 000 000 its alot for small servers... i want made somthing like 300 000
3. How and where i can change cost's for items, skills and etc for TG? Here atm all like 1 000 000 + ... dont know... my server its 5x If on official servers with 1x 5 000 000 alz not problem... dont know..
4. Chumpy now you need write simple cash shop like example for all of us.... and we can complete him together later :) atm i dont know ... how start it :)

When I was following the centos guide, everything worked properly until it start to install. It kept telling me that the space is not enough. HOwever, i'm sure that there're much space for it to install! Help me!

You can find the answer to ace assert errors in my sticky in the help section. You have edited some of the server file on windows and it has converted the files to DOS format which the server does not like. Open and save the ones you edited on centos and save, or use the dos2unix command, to convert them back.

Lots of complicated questions in one there. Can you post them on a fresh topic as all that on here will make for a very long post and those are some good questions that should have their own topic i think.

As for the cash shop it is something i have talked about. I can't say more now.

This is a not a quick and simple answer but if you are using my files and editing ip addresses ini files manually then you have completely missed the point of my repack. It should be configured by running /home/cabal/cabal_config.sh and it can pretty much configure itself for you other than your sql connection details. If you run a different version of the server files then you need to start a new topic with whatever errors you are seeing in your logs (/varl/log/cabal).

It means the virtual hard disk you gave your virtual machine is too small. For Centos 4 you need about a 3gb hdd, not sure for centos 5.

Where and how to edit IP in SAURONS client pach ? I can not find there internal.txt... I sucefully conected with other client pach but have some bugs with npc... i think it's because i am not using SAURONS pach...

i edit it manualy and i run /home/cabal/cabal_config all ur guide i follow but i dnt know why i cant connect on my server.

i have a little question... can i run the server only for me without needing to open ports ? Because i can`t open them.. i have a wireless connection with a router that is around my apartment ( don`t know where and who is the owner).. if i can.. can you give me some detailes on how to do it ? .. Hey Chummy I completed all the Database connectivity , Installation of VMware/ Cabal files etc. ( btw i am using Red Hat Enterprise linux 5 i think its almost same as Centos 5)

The only problem is when I run that /home/cabal/cabal_config.sh file... it start searching for the WAN IP...

Also when I config Hamachi .. it gets installed in both windows n linux. m able to connect to windows hamachi but I am unable to connect to linux hamachi.....

Actually I am using a Dail-up internet Connection.... Can u suggest me how can i enable internet in my Virtual Linux machine. i.e in VMware.....

Please reply as soon as possible ...
