go to start -> run -> type cmd -> enter

then type the IP of centos

Example:

Ping 192.168.1.1

if you want to see your IP in windows type

ipconfig /all

have you try to ping your Windows IP in centos ?

if you want to try type the ip of you windows ip

like this:

In Centos

Open Terminal -> type su - root -> type ping -c4 win.dow.s.IP

if they cant reach go to VMware-> VM -> Setting / preference / option -> click Ethernet or Networking

Change NAT type to BRIDGE and Click the Replicate *Tick*

Now Type the IP of Centos in WinSCP

Then Put The Username root and put your password in centos

The Bestway is to ping BOTH first PING Windows in Centos

Ping The IP of windows and Gateway

ping -c4 win.dow.s.IP
ping -c4 win.dow.s.gateway

then after you ping and responds

try to ping Centos in windows

click start - > run -> type cmd -> enter

type
ping <put the centos IP>

and if responds you can connect to WINSCP
