You will always get an answer here at RZ but you might not always get a good one. I know i try to make sure that every topic posted in this section gets at least one answer if nobody beats me to it.
All of the private servers are made in the same way and to be fair it isn't something you can just pick up easily if you have no experience as a fair amount of linux and mssql knowledge is needed. Unless you have done all of that sort of stuff before, which many people have not, then there is a certain amount of learning to be done as you go.
If you mean you extracted the mssql2005 and centos files from my first post and you see the windows flag icon it means you don't have adobe acrobat reader installed which is needed to read the guides. You can get it for free from

All my guides are step-by-step guides. I write them in a very simple way with lots of pictures so anyone unfamiliar with that they are doing or anyone not too good with English can follow them as easily as possible. The hardest part is actually getting the cabal server files installed and configured right and the whole reason i started modding the original gen_config.sh was specifically to make it easier to install and configure a server.
Just follow my guides in the order i mentioned and you should be fine, but if you get stuck just start a new topic and provide as much info as you can and i will certainly help out and other will too.
