Info making Cabal databases work with Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
First and formost, the databases work perfectly with Microsoft SQL 2005 Express (the free download from microsoft)
Import your databases using SQL management studio Express (again a free download from Microsoft)
When you set up your "gameserver" or linked server, you need to use the "Sql Native Client" Driver instead of the "Microsoft OLEDB for OBDC Driver"
otherwise all configs are the same as guides posted by Darklx, Chumpy and ...etc.
then your are as good as gold.
Sorry if this is not truely a guide rather then just and informative posting.
I at least figured that you all would like to know that you can use the free
version of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 with no problems...
This is the setup that i personaly am using and work very well for me.
