Why should it be deleted? If you removed it then you're trying to set the community back a step. It's also public domain when you release unless specified otherwise (and properly at that). Since you removed your post there's no proof this was originally yours.

Isn't it a start though? It's better than having no code at all. Those that are capable can finish it. Those that can't are still in the same position as if it's not posted. It can still help some. Maybe it'll encourage more people to learn how to code. If it's incomplete people can always choose not to use it. If they put it in they do so at their own risk.
