I tried installing this SQL server on my vista pc first, and when i got to the 4th installer, SQLEXPR*** it failed everytime. So I read the post more deeply, and saw everyone with vista was having trouble so i decided to try on my xp pc... same problem when installing SQLXPR32.

I obviously have, had, have, had, SQL Express installed... but since this thing wont fucking install i cant connect to the server >: I have tried every kind of different configuration on the install, ive uninstalled and tried installing in a different order... Still can't figure out what's causing the problem. It seems I have the same problem as UnnamedXD from earlier in the topic, but reinstalling isnt helping... <_<

Any kind of help is appreciated =[

The Load Version List Fails occur when either

1) KN_online ODBC was set up wrong
-or-
2) Login, knight, was set up wrong
-or-
3) Version.ini was set up wrong

@kowner, check your ODBCs. They're the things that help store stuff onto your database. Something might have been done wrong there.

this shit ain't working with vista 64 bit ... :( downloaded all the 64 bit versions of this and still couldn't get it working.. SQLexpress couldn't install Server Database Services and MySQL2005 can't connect to PCNAME\SQLEXPRESS :-/

hi everybody, i'm trying to do working ko server but my firts question is about odbc dsn system,
i need to have Kn_Data, Kn_online, knight and Knight_Account with login "knight" and passwor "knight" and sknight with login "sknight" and password "qlfjajrmf6"?
My second question, when i launching "versionmanager", popup open with "load version list fail!!".
I verified all inis files with guides and it's ok.
what the hell here?

SQL 2005 express SP2, SPYware terminator and Symantec endpoint Protection. Only aujard(fisauj.exe), ebenezer(1298.exe) and aiserver work but not login server (mystver.exe like i said on first post). tthanks for yours suggests.

Right-click the dbo.USERDATA table, and press Design. Located at ComputerName\SQLEXPRESS\Databases\KN_online\Tables \dbo.USERDATA

There should be a query window that comes up with a scrollable middle screen. Scroll down till you find the row entitled Loyalty, and high-light it. Then, some results will appear on the bottom. Look for the result entitled Default Binding or Value. Next to it should be a number in parentheses. Change the number in the parentheses, but do not delete the parentheses. Then, save it, and restart your server. All characters made after that have the begininng NP you designated.

This fix has been called many things, but most people recall it as the Auto-Clan Grade code. And this has been released many times in the past. But, I guess people can't use the search button each time before posting. It's ok, I guess.

Go to your Account_Logout and Account_Logout1 stored procedures. Located at ComputerName\SQLEXPRESS\Databases\KN_online\Progra mmability\Stored Procedures\

Right-click each, and press Modify.

Add this code to the bottom, and hit execute. Then, close it out, and save. A restart is required for changes to take effect.

Mind the last three ARE NOT QUERIES! They will bug if you just put it in the query editor and hit execute. You have to insert all those little commas and parentheses and quotation marks. So, have fun. Just so you can't leech it all ^_^

BTW, I guessed and/or made my own stats for those mobs. So, that is not entirely accurate to USKO's mobs. If you want to make them USKO stats, go find a site that shows the stats and put them in there yourself because I can't find one with the new mobs myself.

@nicolas, download the attachment on this post and copy-paste them into the MAP folders of both your AiServer and Ebenezer folders.
