RELEASE SECTION RULES

This section is also covered by the RF Online Forum Rules & Code of Conduct and the General Forum Rules

1: No ripping. This means you are not allowed to copy someone elses work (maybe tweek it a little bit) then claim it's 100% created by you and you give no credits to any original makers.

2: No spamming/flaming. Keep the sections clean. We don't want any simple answers like "lol ty","gud release" or any abusive posts such as "lol u f***ing suck" ,"ur release is s***" or anything of the sort.

3: Do not revive/bump topics. Many threads in this section are over 2 years old. The General Forum Rules state that you cannot bump a thread older than 2 weeks. Please check the date on the last post in the thread before you post. As Akaruz has warned you (see here) you have no excuse for doing so. You will either be infracted or banned.

4: Stay on-topic. Keep to the topic of the thread. This is the Release section, not Post-a-Holics so you have no excuse to start chatting about any servers you have played on in a release thread.

5: Search before creating a new thread. Multiples of the same thread are pointless. If you see someone has already created a thread for the Giga 3 server then don't re-create it. If however, the thread is several months old and has dropped off the first few pages then you will be exempt from this rule.

6: Do not attach any viruses. If you are caught doing so, you will be held directly reponsible for distrubuting infected software you will be infracted for posting malicious software.

7: Give credits! If you are releasing or re-releasing something someone else made, then give credits to the original creator, otherwise you'll be infracted for ripping someone else's work.

8: Post virus scans. As of 04/11/2008, virus scans will be compulsary on all releases (or at least advised) to ensure RF Online visitors are downloading a clean file and not some dodgy virus. Be considerate towards others.

PLEASE CLICK THE REPORT BUTTON IF YOU SEE ANY THREADS WHICH BREAK THE FORUM RULES.

IF YOU BREAK THESE RULES YOU WILL BE WARNED, INFRACTED OR BANNED

With thanks,
The RF Online Moderation Team
