i got this problem too but the account server still can run with some error

=> fixed with this
open your DB(navicat) - manage users - add user - user name: ODBC , host: localhost, no password - then select all priviliges and click save




but i have the problem when to run MsgServer.exe.
what is my problem?

hellooo im new to mySQL at first i tried asking on the mySQL forums for help but they only told me what i needed to do and not how to do it which isnt much help to a nooblet like myself..

so first up how do i designate the data folder as a database? since on navicat "create new database, C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.1\Data" doesnt do anything.

i was told i needed to refer to a database and thats why i kept getting the error "account.account doesn't exist" when putting in "ALTER TABLE `account`.`account` MODIFY COLUMN `password` VARCHAR(32) CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_bin NOT NULL;"

any help would be wonderful since i've been stuck trying to make this server for about 3 days now.. :'(

Hi,

When I'm at step 7...at GameSetUp.ini --- there is no [accountserver]

When I'm changing the server names... at ACCServer\config.ini--- there is no GAMESERVER

When I'm at step 8... when I input the second and third line--- it says the table 'account.account' does not exist.

Please help.
