[TUTORIAL] How to make EO Server Online | So that ur Friends can Join :D

In order to make EO Server Online one have to correctly edit the Configuration files, if you cant make it work I will show you how.

File 1: "../ACCServer/config.ini"

Yea ive done that and now it all works it lets me login in to client and stuff but how do i get my freind to join do i give him my oem.ini with serverip???

Yup! u have to give him "oem.ini" , "GameSetUp.ini" & "server.dat" to be sure tht he can connect to your Server.

easiest way but if ur playing it offline then put "127.0.0.1" as its in the Guide.

Real? wht do you mean by tht? .. thts the IP by which ur PC is connected to the Internet

well i got mine by goin to run on my pc then cmd then ipconfig much easier lol and u get the write ip to connect to and also do i get my server.dat from the client?? i have'nt changed the server.dat in the client do i need to edit it befor i give because its encrpyted

So you're telling me that you make the config IP 127.0.0.1 and in their patch they put UR IP? Because if they tell their friends to join with the IP 127.0.0.1 it goes to THEIR server, so i would just suggest using your LOCAL/WAN IP:

That is your local/wan IP that you put in place of 127.0.0.1 - but you have to make sure that you make the correct number of accounts in mySQL for your server to work and get the info from your files also.

if ur talking to me i found out my proper gateway ip and it allworks by goin to run then put cmd then in command i put ipconfig and it told my ip that will let others find and that then i put it

ect and it came up with my server soo it works lol and also do i need to change the server.dat cos its in the client or just make a back up of his and put it were my mates are??

u can change the server.dat as some versions need it.. but i think tht "oem.in" ignores dat

so i just put into is eudemon client my oem.ini gamesetup.ini and server.dat?. And also does he need the same version client as mine??

Game Clients above 1078 are supported without a hitch... and be sure to provide ur Friedns the 3 files .. "oem.ini", "gamesetup.ini", "server.dat" ...

well ive gave it to him and he still can't login my acc server and msg server and npc server is still runnin and connected propally and he just getsw stuck at the loggin into server then it says netword conjusted or server maitince you no the ip u get from the website u provided will that deff work cos im using my gateway ip????

i changed every ''127.0.0.1'' to my IP but now i get ca'n't connect due server maint...

i have client 1078 with latest 2 patches...

that server files that was posted in this forum (http://forum.ragezone.com/f111/release-eudemons-server-files-337664/)
works with 1089 client thought the language is still unreadable ^_^ (for me).
