I recorded a video a while ago once i had everything fully figured out (unlike my first thread).
Not everything might be explained correctly & i never really recorded a tutorial so i trip over some words and stuff.
So anyways, heres the video.
If you didnt quite understand something i did in the video just post the question in this thread.
Ill see to explain it in text form.
Well you say you theres something wrong but never say/show what exactly is wrong.
Since theres only so much to see in a video my guess is the plugin for 13-14 might still be faulty, despite the fixing linear did based on sotp's initial release.
I dont have 14 installed so i cant just ask for the max file and look at things (max isnt downwards compatible with max files).
Are your vertices properly merged?
Did you make sure everything else is named properly?
Whats the log saying after you export?
You could export it out and upload the bsp/rs/xml/col file and i look at the data with worldedit.
Thomas is my twinbrother, both DusteR (shared acc & game acc) and both mappers. He was always the one at gzmap forum, other forums and 'The DusteR' here on Ragezone. We both made maps together and or seperated. And released it under the same name ;-)
OT: I know about that, i didnt mean it that way, i meant that skype account, oh well.
I was able to export the collision without big problems.
It might really just be the plugins.
Try to delete your collision and import the obj and try to export everything again.
Might be something odd you did with the object that doesnt bother max but the plugin cant handle.
