if im using xiaos runnable (FileList Skip) do i have to update my filelist.xml? cuz its a pain doing it......

this is a pain in the ass......

i cant get my zpatchbuilder thingy to work... yes my runnable is Gunz.exe but then i changed it back to theduel.exe and edited the name in the patch.xml, but when i tested it says it cannot connect to server or something then it deletes patch.xml............

oh yeah if i add maps or quests do i have to add there crc32 and shit into filelist.xml for the game to recognize its there?

also, can everything be like a no-ip EXCEPT the system.xml?

locator.ini
all that other crap can it be a no-ip?

...did you put patch.xml in the right place?, im gessing not

if you got the skipped one then NO you dont have to worry about it

i find no-ip may or may not work depending on your pc

Operating System : Windows Vista Home Premium

and yeah i put patch.xml in GunzUpdate and gunzweb

AND in the client folder......

patch.xml doesnt go there it goes into the gunzupdate folder you made for wamp

i still wouldnt use no-ip in client and DB

I did everything in the opening post. When I start up the Client using the modded launcher and the modded theduel.exe, the ingame serer list stays empty. This is the output of my MatchServer:

put Monitor IP to 127.0.0.1 so you dont get the 999 ping problem

Weirdly enough, I can't get the server to show. I've had a serv up and running easily a long time ago, running it now and it just won't show under WAN IP Settings, changing all IP's to 127.0.0.1 seem to work, but I doubt it's accessable by other people.

Any suggestions?

says something about a timeout and i cant do sql server auth..... will windows work?

or shud i reinstall sql server?

if you get the same error on both xp and vista then it is a program that you are running or some think you are doing wileyour do it or a disabled service or 2

well my SQLexpress service thingy is running same with the sqlbrowser thingy.........

maybe u shud add a tut on how to correctly setup SQL server

yeah but its harmless cuz i got a anti virus obviously, firewall, and lot of other crap......... and plus i really dont care about viruses they never do anything to ME anyways...........

eirther way all my services are running for SQL at least

well the way to install it is keep hitting next untill you need to select mixed mode or standed

you have you choose mixed then keep hitting next till its installed

the video looks old btw
