Yes, if you don't have the game, search Google for a cracked version

To MAKE a server you don't need the game, in order to play your server you'll need a copy of the game and the SAMP client.

Yeah Laz is doing a good job with guides.

Anyway, laz, if it's not too much trouble could you make it as clear as possible in the first post that you must have the full GTA:SA game? Allot of people seem to think they can just download SA:MP and play..

Re: [Server Files] | GTA: San Andreas MultiPlayer Server Files & Client |

I have noticed a few errors.

anticheat 0 When set to 1 it stops people from using hacks on server. When left at 0 people can hack at their own will.
This is not true, SAC (SA-MP Anti-Cheat) was able to ban players across all SAC protected servers.
This has been removed so set it to 0.

filterscripts (Filters stuff in the server)
scriptfiles (These run in the background from the original gamemode - they could edit how the game is played e.g a RolePlay server without editing the actual gamemode)
This is incorrect as well, Filter Scripts (Aka FS) are infact files that could edit how the game is played.
Script files is normaly used as a database for scripts among other things.

Also expanding on:
filterscripts adminspec vactions filterscripts run in the background
After you have compiled your filter scripts, you simply put the file name (excluding .amx) after filterscripts separating each file with a space.

Re: [Server Files] | GTA: San Andreas MultiPlayer Server Files & Client | UPDATED |

you can.

Register an account on your server, log out, then look for your account name in the scriptfiles folder. Search for "admin=0" and set that to say "admin=10" without the quotes.

Laz it's not the same with every admin FS, and even in some game modes it will change it, it just depends, but as you said, in the scriptfiles with the account Somewhere, there will be an option to make yourself admin, but it wont always be like admin=10 sometimes its like admin=1337

Aye, but isn't lvl 10 the most common one? I've only ever know level 1337 to be used in Godfather :/

How long has it been since you've checked SA:MP?

They removed SAC, It's no longer available, so the AntiCheat should indeed be set to 1 if you want to stop some hackers, but of course, it won't stop all.

Althought FS can change how the game is played, they're mostly used as something like adding extra commands without messing with the game mode, They're normally not used to change the gameplay like a game mode would do.

And like I said, it just depends on the admin FS used :p
