I'm running Windows XP Professional 32-bit, and I'm also pretty sure that I followed it correctly. This is the path i installed them into: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS

I have the same problem i tried everything, i have running Windows XP Professional 32-bit with SP 2 and always get this error.

very strange, because on ascentemu it has been succesfully tested on:
Windows XP SP2 32bit NL
Windows XP SP2 32bit EN
Windows Vista Home Basic 32bit EN
Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit EN
Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit EN

I will look what it could be, but cannot promise anything at the moment.

Hello there everyone, I just followed these two steps to probably fix the weird crashes my server had.
Everything went perfect until I just changed the Arcemu Core.
That was my main objective in this update.
I finally started ascent-world.exe and logonserver.exe.
Everything started up nice until I saw something terrible.
When I logged my account and noticed EVERY NPC IN THE WHOLE WhyDB Database was removed!!!!
I have exacly no idea what the h3ll caused that.

Luckily, I made a server database backup since yesterday, I imported it, but now SQLyog cries because of MysqlServer is not present or offline...

Duuhh.. what the hell? It IS ONLINE dumb shiet, tried to re-install it.
Did not work at all.
I tried to import the databases through HeidiSQL, everything worked well, but that dumb thing didn't even import Creature_names at all!
So, my biggest mystery, is.. No sql program can ever import that database without sqrewing everything up.

So my question is. Can you import a single table with the Creature_names only without removing everything from the database.

but, if someone could tell me what I did wrong, please do.

the problem is on your side, because WhyDB HAS the creature_names within it.
justbrowse the maps that came with it, and you'll find it.

i have another problem with ad.exe now it gives a message saying:

C:\Program files\world of warcraft\ad.exe

The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect please reinstall

have read thru forums and seen the problem mentioned but no fix did i miss somethin?

have you installed .net framework 3.5?
it doesn't come with the updates, you have to download it yourself from the microsoft website...

Im getting an error when executing ascent-world.exe. It loads everything but in authentication says:
Authentication timed out.
Do you know how can I fix it? Ive tried updating MySQL, changing passwords, ports and none of these trials worked.

I'm having an issue with logging in. Earlier today, I logged in just fine, but I couldn't disable my addons. I exited WoW, moved the addons directory to another folder, but kept the blizzard_XXX stuff. I went to log in, and now whenever I try to log into a realm, it kicks me out immediately. Any idea whats causing it?

Maybe you deleted a significant character that breaks the code.
Try to extract again logonserver.conf and changing
